An Edinburgh man is fighting for his life after suffering a severe heart attack while travelling home from a holiday in the south of France. Now a fundraising page to has been set up to help with the £16,000 cost of hiring a private air ambulance needed to bring the heating engineer home.

 

🔵 Man charged in connection with hit and run which killed pensioner

A 38-year-old man has been charged in connection with a following a fatal road crash in Blackburn, West Lothian.

 

🔵 Go-ahead for latest Old Royal High School plans

🔵 Controversial murals given go-ahead outside historic church

New artwork on a historic Edinburgh church wall dismantled and rebuilt during tram works has been given the go-ahead – despite concerns they are "poor quality" and "not in keeping with the historic character of Leith".
