President Biden's outline of a new cease-fire proposal, which he misleadingly said came from Israel, was an obvious bid to force Jerusalem to accept it. That's even though the plan — at least as he described it — would leave Hamas to survive the war and render the Jewish state vulnerable. No wonder Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu immediately clarified that there'd be no "permanent cease-fire" until Israel had met all its goals: "the destruction of Hamas military and governing capabilities, the freeing of all hostages and ensuring that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel." On Monday he said the proposal Biden presented "is incomplete" and "there are other details" the president failed to make public. Much of the press coverage of the deal, he reportedly added, was "fake news." Yes, Hamas has been weakened, but Israel cannot leave it free to re-establish and re-arm itself, enabling it to launch more Oct. 7-style attacks. As Bibi warned, "Iran and all of our enemies are watching to see if we capitulate." And just because Biden says "it's time for this war to end" and that the deal "ensures Israel's security," that hardly makes it true. Read more |

You couldn't have expected a better target for pro-Hamas, pro-terror goons than New York City's Israel Day Parade. Yet on Sunday the event, which drew tens of thousands of Israel supporters, went off virtually without a hitch. That was clearly thanks to phenomenal security preparations by the NYPD, including drones, helicopters, a ubiquitous police presence, tightly controlled checkpoints and other measures. Doubled metal barricades created a buffer zone separating spectators on Fifth Avenue from those marching. Sure, the tight security created hassles for spectators. But all New Yorkers owe an enormous debt of gratitude to the army of cops who patrolled the area in the hot sun for hours, ensuring public safety; to top brass who organized the difficult security efforts; and to Mayor Adams, a former NYPD captain, for making sure the needed work got done. President Biden and his staff have been protecting, collaborating with and even helping fund Iran to such an extent that it's fair to wonder whose side he's actually on. Republican lawmakers have now uncovered evidence suggesting Biden special Iran envoy Robert Malley improperly shared sensitive or classified documents with Tehran. Malley, recall, had worked with and hired affiliates of the Iran Experts Initiative, a group Tehran used to push its nuclear and national-security agenda. He was placed on leave last year but it's not clear exactly why — or what President knew about it. That comes on the heels of Team Biden's efforts to prevent Britain and France from censoring Iran over its nuke program. Don't forget the administration warned Israel in April not to retaliate after Iran fired missiles and attack drones at it directly from its own soil. Team Biden has also waived some Iran sanctions, dropped enforcement of others and provided billions to the regime. Meanwhile, the press has barely raised an eyebrow — in sharp contrast to how it raced to drum up bogus stories about Donald Trump working for Russia and ran them 24/7. Where's the fury over IranGate?
