Around 10 police vehicles rushed to an Edinburgh street last night to arrest a 27-year-old man following a disturbance. A man who was arrested in the incident is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.

Edinburgh's largest community-run event, the bi-annual Corstorphine Fair, returned to St Margaret's Park on Saturday as thousands basked in the sunshine and enjoyed all the fun of the fair. Here are a selection of photos from the sun-soaked festival.
