Israel faces the potential of a yet another front opening in its war against Iranian proxies, this one vs. the Houthis in Yemen. On Friday, the group, which receives weapons and instructions from Iran, managed to slip an attack drone through Israeli defenses and into the heart of its second-largest city, Tel Aviv, where it killed one person and injured several others. Israel retaliated with its first-ever airstrikes in Yemen, setting ablaze a port where Iranian weapons arrive. The Houthis then fired a missile into Israel, which IDF forces successfully intercepted The Houthis have launched hundreds of drones and missiles at Israel, and at ships in the region, since Oct. 7. Hezbollah, another terror group armed and controlled by Tehran, has also fired rockets, drones and missiles almost daily since then — even as Israel has focused on eradicating Hamas and rescuing hostages in Gaza. Meanwhile, Iran — which is behind all the attacks against Israel — is itself on the cusp of acquiring nuclear weapons. And it smells blood in the water with Democrats in Washington divided on who'll replace Joe Biden as their nominee and the election just four months off. Israel may have to confront the Islamic Republic monster directly sooner than anyone thinks. Read more |

Family members of hostages taken captive by Hamas were encouraged by the tough words Donald Trump had for the terrorists who took Israeli and American hostages: "To the entire world," Trump vowed at the Republican National Convention last week, "I tell you this: We want our hostages back — and they better be back before I assume office, or you will be paying a very big price." When was the last time anyone heard President Biden utter such a threat — and mean it? "There is no question where Trump stands on this issue, specifically with the statement he just made," cheered Uri Goren, whose cousin Tal Haimi's body was taken by Hamas terrorists after they murdered him Oct. 7. He said he's confident the hostage families will continue to receive significant bipartisan support if Trump wins the election. Trump's threats may well force US and Israeli enemies to back down, but if he wins and they don't stand down, he'll have to prove he means what he says. Unlike the current president. Read more |

| An NYC Department of Education spokesman says school officials don't comment on pending litigation, but a lawsuit against the agency by two staffers, amended with new allegations Friday, leaves little doubt they've been treated horribly for reporting antisemitism at Origins HS in Sheepshead Bay. Danielle Kaminsky, who taught there, and Michael Beaudry, an administrator, claim DOE is retaliating against them for speaking out about anti-Jewish and anti-LGBTQ hate they experienced at the school. The Post featured their story on its front page in March: Kaminsky says she was called a "dirty Jew" and terrorized by a gang of Hitler-loving teens; Kaminsky backed her allegations that students yanked an Israeli flag from a display in her class and slammed her with hate speech. After complaining, both fear they'll now lose their jobs. "It is outrageous that after a teacher experienced antisemitic horrors at Origins, she and the school's campus manager are now facing ongoing retaliation," their lawyer, Adam Cohen, railed. "They deserve the DOE's protection, but instead their careers have been put at risk." Chancellor David Banks admits Origins has been plagued by "a wide range of deeply troubling antisemitic things." So why won't he ensure that the two whistleblowers are treated more fairly? Read more |
